Swimming

We have enjoyed several evenings at the pool this summer.. It would be nice if it were a little bit warmer outside but I can't really complain about all our 80 degree summer days when other parts of the country have been seeing well over 100.

Even though it's cold getting out, the water is quite comfortable and the boys have been having a blast. They each had a two-week session of swim lessons and learned a ton. Silas can hold his breath while you sing the entire alphabet (and not quickly, either), as well as dive to the bottom of the pool and get a diving stick. He can also swim unassisted about half way across, and with a noodle he can make it the whole way.

Titus loves using his water wings, as it makes him feel very independent, but we've been working on learning to float and use the kickboard. He also loves doing bobs.

Both boys love having their "goo goo goggles" and being able to see what's going on underwater.

The most awesome thing about being pregnant in the summer is that the pool is open and I can spend an hour feeling completely weightless. I rigged a little chair using pool noodles and just floated around. So relaxing.
