Just to tease you, I will tell you that I am planning an interesting post for later this week. But for now, check out our house in the snow....


Yes, it's only a dusting, but I am hoping for more later this year!


And, I convinced Matt to put Christmas lights on the house....

Another break from house pictures

We took a whirlwind trip to Victoria, B.C. this weekend... it certainly took our minds off the house for a while (12 days and counting by the way.. :) and it was absolutely beautiful there.

We took the ferry across the Straight of Juan de Fuca...


...toured a castle...


...went to the Buchart Gardens and had High Tea...







...hung out with friends...
 

...ate at some great English pubs, and even went for a horse drawn carriage ride!

Our house got painted yesterday and I love the color! I turned out even better than I thought it would.

Okay, you've probably seen enough house pictures for a while, so here's some pictures of us at Crater Lake. We decided to escape the heat of the valley for the holiday weekend and do some camping and hiking. It was beautiful!

The building is moving forward steadily. We picked out carpets, vinyl, cabinets, and countertops this week, and are now trying to decide on a paint color.

It should be ready by the end of September.
