Disneyland!

It's a right of passage in every child's life to go to Disneyland, and since I had never been as a kid, I was anxious to take the boys so I could experience it too! We left Micah with Grandma & Grandpa Ries and brought Grandma & Grandpa Jones along with us. Lots of fun experiences.

Titus turns 5

Titus chose a batman cake for his birthday. He also went with an outside water slide theme, but added a pinata.

First Day of School

It was a big year as Silas started 1st grade and Titus started kindergarten. They were both SO excited and still enjoy school a lot!

Micah turns 1

Micah is hurrying just as fast as his little legs can carry him to catch up to his brothers. He enjoyed his birthday and all the attention that came with turning 1 year old!

 

Silas turns 6

I can't believe my baby is 1/3 of the way to an adult! We had a family gathering for him with grandparents, cousins, aunt and uncles, then the next day we had a "friend party" that he planned himself - right down to designing the cake!

There were water balloons, a water slide, and squirt guns...

Silas described to me what shape cake he wanted and then drew it out on the white board. He was very specific that it have three layers and have cherries on top. He had me draw a water slide down the front of it then he placed the cherries and candles himself.

A visit from the East Coasters

Aunt Bekah and cousin Rosie came out to see us in June. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed some fun in the water and at the beach. The boys love their little cousin, and are always talking about how cute she is.
