Another hint and a disclaimer
Another reason for not revealing
the name yet is that I don't want to feel locked into it - I can't
promise I won't change my mind after seeing him for the first time. But
we do have our top choice picked out. I wonder if that means that if we
do change our minds we have to refund everyone's money? Oh, well. So
far, the little guy's college fund has grown by $55!
Anyway, for those of you who are cheapskates (or "poor college students" like my sister), you can try to deduce the name from a series of free hints that I may or may not remember to post each week up until the birth. The first hint was in the last post.
2nd hint: Both the first and middle names start with a consonant.

Name that kid!
We have picked
out a name for our baby boy, but we wanted to keep it a secret and make
the announcement after he's born. Still, everyone is very curious, so
we've devised a little game for those of you who just can't wait six
more weeks. :)
If you would like to make an Oregon tax-deductible contribution to our son's 529 college savings fund, here's what you can get:
For $5, you may ask and receive an answer to any yes or no question. For example, "Does the name start with ___?" or "Is it in the Bible?" etc.
For $50, we will give you a list of our top potential names (both first and middle).
For $500, we will just tell you the name.
For a generous $5,000 contribution to his college fund, we will let you name our kid.
But here's a free hint for everyone. The name does appear in the top 1000 names for 2006 according to the Social Security Administration's data:

Happy guessing!
